Fruit Enzyme Refining & Renewing Serum
An enzyme serum that exfoliates without scrubbing. Papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple break down the protein bonds holding dead surface cells in place, so they lift away rather than being sanded off.
Enzymes stop once they run out of substrate, which makes them far more forgiving than friction. Paired here with a low level of salicylic acid to keep pores clear, and niacinamide to settle the flushing exfoliation can provoke.
Who it suits
Congested, uneven or dull skin. Anyone who wants resurfacing without the sandpaper.
Who should be careful
Contains fragrance, citral and limonene. If fragrance in skincare reliably irritates you, start elsewhere. Introduce two or three times a week before considering daily use.
