Gold Flakes Illuminating Facial Scrub
A scrub that exfoliates twice over, and does the physical half properly.
The beads are jojoba esters — perfectly round, soft enough to yield under pressure, and biodegradable. That matters because most physical exfoliants are crushed shells or stones, which are jagged, and jagged particles scratch rather than polish. Jojoba beads roll.
Underneath, gluconolactone, a PHA, does chemical exfoliation at the same time, so the surface loosens rather than relying on friction alone. Colloidal oatmeal keeps the whole thing calm.
Who it suits
Dull, rough skin. Anyone who likes the feel of a scrub but has been told to avoid them — usually because of what the beads were made of, not because of scrubbing itself.
Which exfoliant to choose
Gold Flakes if you want the physical sensation. Sapphire Peel if you want acids without rubbing. Fruit Enzyme if you want neither.
How to use
Massage gently over damp skin for thirty seconds, then rinse. Once or twice a week. Let the beads do the work — pressing harder does not exfoliate more, it just irritates.
