Furoshiki Gift Wrap
Dating back as far as the Nara period, the name, Furoshiki 風呂敷 meaning "bath spread", derives from the practice of using cloth to bundle clothes while at Japanese public baths to prevent a mix-up of the bathers' clothes. Eventually, furoshiki was used to decorate gifts in an elegant yet eco-friendly fashion.
