BB Crème Anti-Acne
Coverage for skin that is breaking out, which is a harder brief than it sounds. Most foundations sit heavily on congested skin and make the next day worse; most acne treatments leave skin you then want to cover.
A BB cream splits the difference — lighter than foundation, enough pigment to even out redness and marks, and formulated so that wearing it is not working against whatever you are using to treat the breakout.
In this one the actives are not decorative. Niacinamide sits fourth on the list, with potassium azeloyl diglycinate — a water-soluble azelaic acid derivative — and zinc PCA behind it. Those are the same three ingredients you would look for in a treatment serum for oil, redness and post-spot marks. The coverage comes from titanium dioxide and iron oxides.
Who it suits
Anyone treating acne who still has to leave the house. Post-spot marks that take weeks to fade and need covering meanwhile. Days when confidence matters more than purity of routine.
How to use
Over sunscreen, as the final step. Remove it properly at night — coverage on congested skin is fine, coverage left on overnight is not.
It is not a sunscreen. Titanium dioxide is in here as a pigment, for coverage, and the product carries no SPF rating — so it does not replace the sunscreen underneath it.
