CRYSTAL HEALING Oxygenating Facial Scrub
Crystal Healing Oxygenating Facial Scrub
A scrub for skin that looks grey rather than dull — the city complexion, after a run of late nights and air-conditioned offices.
It is a dry powder, not a cream: rice powder, oat flour and tapioca starch with kaolin and cellulose, activated with water in the palm. Ten ingredients, no water in the jar — so no preservative, no fragrance and no acid. You set the intensity yourself by how much water you add, from a loose milky cleanse to a thicker polish.
Physical exfoliation does one thing well: it takes off the layer of dead cells that sits flat and scatters light badly. Removing it is why skin looks brighter immediately after a scrub rather than in a fortnight.
Who it suits
Congested, sallow or rough skin. Anyone who wants a visible difference tonight rather than a gradual one. Oat and rice are the traditional choice for skin that cannot take an acid, and panthenol and allantoin sit behind them.
Which scrub to choose
Crystal Healing is the one you mix yourself — purely physical, with no acid in it at all. Gold Flakes comes ready-mixed, with round jojoba beads and gluconolactone, a PHA, doing chemical work alongside the polishing. Choose Gold Flakes if you want the acid; choose this one if you would rather not have one.
How to use
Tip a small amount into a damp palm, add water a few drops at a time until it forms a paste, then massage gently over damp skin for thirty seconds and rinse thoroughly. Once a week. Not on the same night as acids or retinol.
Pairs well with
- OXYGEN FACIAL Mask — scrub first, mask after, for a proper weekly reset on congested skin.
- PURITY Soothing Gel — to settle skin afterwards.
