Why this vitamin C form
3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a vitamin C derivative developed for improved chemical stability. That is a formulation consideration, not proof that every derivative serum outperforms L-ascorbic acid. Storage, the complete formula and individual tolerance still matter.
The antioxidant trio
The INCI lists 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Tocopherol and Ferulic Acid. These ingredients contribute different antioxidant properties. Published research on a particular vitamin C, vitamin E and ferulic-acid formulation does not establish the same performance for every formula containing those names.
