LUMINIZING II Replenishing & Moisturizing Cream
Luminizing II Replenishing & Moisturizing Cream
A barrier-repair cream, built the way the research says barriers are actually rebuilt.
Healthy skin holds itself together with three lipids in roughly fixed proportion: ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids. Most creams supply one of the three. This one contains three ceramides — NP, AP and EOP — alongside cholesterol and linoleic acid, which is the combination studied for restoring a damaged barrier rather than simply sitting on top of it.
Squalane and glycerin soften, and a small amount of petrolatum seals the whole thing in. Petrolatum is unglamorous and remains the most effective occlusive there is.
Who it suits
Skin that is genuinely compromised: tight, flaky, stinging when products go on, or over-treated by acids and retinoids. Also useful in air-conditioning, which quietly dehydrates skin all day.
How to use
Last step at night, on slightly damp skin. Can be used morning and night while the barrier recovers.
Pairs well with
- SKIN DRINK — pure squalane, no preservative or fragrance, for the nights when even a cream feels like too much.
- CLEAN 100% Mineral Sunscreen SPF50 — a recovering barrier burns more easily.
