PINK SAKE Restoring Moisturizer
Pink Sake Restoring Moisturizer
Rice ferment filtrate is the second ingredient, ahead of the glycerin and the oils. It is the ingredient that made Japanese fermented skincare famous, and the reason sake brewers were said to have unusually soft hands.
Fermentation breaks rice down into smaller molecules — amino acids, vitamins and minerals the skin can take up more easily than the grain itself. Here it is combined with rice bran oil, niacinamide and squalane.
Who it suits
Dull, tired-looking skin that is not especially dry but has lost its bounce. The texture is light, which suits humidity.
Which moisturiser to choose
Choose this for radiance and softness. Choose Luminizing II if the problem is a damaged barrier rather than dullness, or Skin Rescue if you are also dealing with breakouts.
How to use
Morning and night after serums.
Pairs well with
- UNICORN TEARS Collagen Essence — an essence first, then this over it, which is how fermented skincare is traditionally layered.
- NAKED 100% Mineral Sunscreen SPF50 — a dewy finish that works with the texture of this cream.
