Rose Quartz Oil Moisture Lip Treatment
A treatment oil for lips, not a face cream.
Lip skin has no oil glands of its own and a far thinner barrier than the rest of the face, which is why it dries out first and stays dry longest. It cannot moisturise itself. An oil-based treatment sits where it is needed and slows the water loss.
Eleven ingredients, all of them oils, esters or lipid-soluble actives — castor, jojoba and meadowfoam seed oils with squalane, vitamin E and bisabolol. There is no water in it, which means no preservative, and no fragrance or flavouring to sting a cracked lip.
Who it suits
Lips that are chronically dry, flaking, or roughened by air-conditioning. Anyone reapplying balm all day without it making any lasting difference — a treatment oil overnight does more than a wax balm every hour.
How to use
Apply generously before bed as an overnight treatment. Can be used through the day under or over lipstick.
