The June Glow-Up Kit: What's Inside and Why Each Product Earned Its Spot
Posted on May 11 2026
We do not put together a product bundle the way some brands do — selecting what is overstocked or reaching the end of its run. The June Glow-Up Kit was built backwards from a single question: what is the most complete, genuinely effective three-product routine for the most common skin concerns we see from our customers in Singapore?
The answer: one serum for acne and hyperpigmentation, one serum for brightening and antioxidant protection, and one exfoliant for texture and congestion. Three products covering six distinct biological mechanisms. One routine.
Here is every product in the kit, and the evidence-based reason it is there.
What’s Inside the June Glow-Up Kit
ClearBliss — Azelaic Acid Serum
The problem it solves: Hormonal and inflammatory acne, plus the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation it leaves behind.
Why it earned its spot: ClearBliss is the only product in the kit that addresses both active breakouts AND the pigmentation cycle they create. Azelaic acid’s mechanism covers:
- Reducing the bacterial load (C. acnes) that drives inflamed breakouts
- Calming the inflammatory response that makes breakouts painful and prolonged
- Normalising keratinisation to prevent new pore blockages from forming
- Inhibiting tyrosinase to directly reduce melanin production in response to post-inflammatory stimulation
For skin dealing with acne — or with the aftermath of past breakouts — this is the cornerstone of the routine.
How to use in the kit routine: AM + PM, after cleansing, before moisturiser. In the morning, apply after Glowgenic C+T.
Glowgenic C+T — Vitamin C + Turmeric Brightening Serum
The problem it solves: Dullness, uneven skin tone, UV-triggered hyperpigmentation, ongoing oxidative damage.
Why it earned its spot: Singapore’s UV index is among the highest in the world year-round. Vitamin C applied under SPF provides a layer of antioxidant protection that intercepts UV-generated free radicals before they can cause collagen breakdown and pigmentation. This is not marketing language — it is a mechanism with substantial research behind it.
The addition of curcumin (turmeric’s active compound) strengthens the antioxidant capacity and adds a second pathway for tyrosinase inhibition — complementing both the vitamin C brightening mechanism and the azelaic acid in ClearBliss.
Together, Glowgenic C+T and ClearBliss form a comprehensive anti-pigmentation stack: one acting at the level of synthesis (both vitamin C and curcumin via tyrosinase inhibition), one acting at the level of the inflammatory cascade that triggers post-acne pigmentation (azelaic acid).
How to use in the kit routine: AM only, as the first active step after cleansing, before ClearBliss, moisturiser, and SPF.
BHA+AHA Skin Perfector — Chemical Exfoliant
The problem it solves: Blackheads, congested pores, rough surface texture, slow cellular turnover.
Why it earned its spot: The Skin Perfector is the mechanical clearance step in this routine. While ClearBliss and Glowgenic C+T work at the biochemical level, the Skin Perfector physically clears the stratum corneum and the pore lining — creating better conditions for the other two products to absorb and act.
BHA (salicylic acid) is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate into the sebum-lined interior of pores and dissolve the blockages that form blackheads and congestion. AHA exfoliates the surface and accelerates cell turnover — amplifying the hyperpigmentation-fading work done by the other two products by continuously clearing the pigmented cells.
How to use in the kit routine: PM, two to three evenings per week, on alternating evenings from ClearBliss. Do not use both on the same evening.
The Complete Kit Routine
Every morning: 1. Cleanser 2. Glowgenic C+T 3. ClearBliss 4. Moisturiser 5. SPF 30+ (required — not optional)
Non-exfoliation evenings (4–5x per week): 1. Double cleanse (remove SPF thoroughly) 2. ClearBliss 3. Moisturiser
Exfoliation evenings (2–3x per week): 1. Double cleanse 2. BHA+AHA Skin Perfector 3. Moisturiser
This is a complete routine. You do not need to add anything else unless you have a specific concern — a prescription retinoid for anti-ageing, or a prescription-strength active for severe pigmentation — that falls outside what these three products address.
Why It’s Limited to June
We limited the Glow-Up Kit to June for two reasons. First, mid-year is a natural point for a routine reset — we call it Your Mid-Year Skin Reset for a reason. Six months of UV, humidity, and stress accumulate in the skin. This is a good moment to address congestion, start a brightening routine, and establish better habits before the second half of the year.
Second, the collectible box. We designed the packaging around the campaign — it is not a repurposed standard box. Once this run is sold, it is sold. The kit continues as individual products, but the box and the bundled pricing are June only.
For Even Better Results
The three products in the Glow-Up Kit work on skin quality from the surface in. Professional treatments work from a different depth. If you want to accelerate the skin density and pigmentation results, or if you have concerns that topical products alone are not addressing — significant cystic acne, deep melasma, post-acne textural scarring — SW1 Clinic offers a full menu of medical-grade treatments assessed by qualified aesthetic doctors.
For a facial that complements your new routine, SW1 Spa offers treatments designed to work alongside active-ingredient home care.
The June Glow-Up Kit is available exclusively at sw1shop.com, while stocks last.
Schema note: Add Product schema (kit/bundle, contains three component products) and AggregateRating schema using verified customer review data before publishing. Consider adding HowTo schema for the kit routine.
